Hey
Here’s what I’ve been reading.
Learnings from 5 years of tech startup code audits: Ken Kantzer’s Blog: Yeah this is good. Not just a myopic view of security either.
From the archives: Xerox’s PARC’s engineers on how they invented the future: IEEE Spectrum: So I missed the bit about this being from the archive, and got like 400 words into this and was like “hang on why are we talking about this stuff in the present tense ?”. But anyhow, this is from like 1986 and is a retro on the first 15 odd years of the PARC lab and all the very cool stuff that they did (basically everything). Bit on the long side. People had more patience in the 80s.
The Pivot to Web3 Is Going to Get People Hurt - Motherboard: Yep. Not to be all contrarian but yeah pay attention to who is making money off this. And this too.
Meta Doesn’t Mean What You Think It Does - The Atlantic: Bleak.
Monorepos in JavaScript & TypeScript - Robin Wieruch: After all of that, cleanse your reading palette with ~3,000 words on source control and build systems in Javascript.
Have a good weekend.
